Books are my happy place. No doubt about it. This is a stack of my some of my favourite books in my house with my lovely blue reading chair. All that is needed is afternoon sunshine. Saturday’s Book Love post recieved some lovely book loving feedback. Sam Mackie – a fellow book lover – and owner of the delicious The Cooks Larder in Newport, sent me an incredible picture of one of her favourite library situations. See it below and sigh. Until I had written a book myself though, I was fairly unawares of the blood, sweat and tears that goes into making one. This is why I buy so many books – even if they are not that good, because I think of all of the work that someone put into it to get it out there, the least I can do is be appreciative and buy it! In a world when the internet stands in lieu of bookstores, we need to remember all that is good about supporting book stores. The world has some amazing ones. Truly. They will blow your hair off your head. Homelove has a section at the back with the world’s best bookstore! It is my own personal list of the best book stores that I one day hope to get to them all. Any others that you all want to reccomend? Unlike sharing your hairdresser, nothing can go wrong in sharing a beautiful book store. Nothing.
