Book Love

I love books so much. I have a special line in my monthly budget for them. I can’t help myself. I’ve never been able to resist their beautiful bindings, hardbound elegance and their smell. Second to my love of books, is my love of bookshelves.  So much so that I’ve built a bookshelf actually around my bed because I get giddy with excitement knowing that when I wake up I am able to see them all. (Want to see it? click here). I had always wanted to write a book about my insatiable love for the subject of all things home, so thank you Julie Gibbes and her Lantern imprint of Penguin. Loving books means an instant love for bookstores. I also have a list of the world’s best bookstores that I want to visit before I die. Some are mega-marts, some are teeny operations, others you can sleep in (truly). Click here to see my list of best bookstores in the world and feel free to add your own!  homelove is reading these books at the moment …
